I know things are rough, but believe in yourself. And if there ever comes a time where you doubt yourself, just remember, you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. You will succeed.

 just because he was your first love does not mean he is the one for you. after he leaves you and then decides to come back 5 years later: run, run the other way.

 It will break your heart but for all the right reasons. You WILL make it, you WILL beat them. You have the strength, somewhere down there. I know it doesn't feel like it, it doesn't look like it, but it will actually be ok in the end.

 Don't tell him you love him. Trust me, you'll regret it every second of every day, you don't love him, you're just afraid to be alone. It'll spare you days and nights filled with crying, and a police report.

 Being popular and cool is relative. Being yourself is not. So stop trying so hard to be someone else and try a little hard being happy by being yourself.

 Don't let your fear of rejection stop you from coming out. It so much easier and brighter and happier when you say it.
